Shirley Ann Southland went home to be with her Lord on December 15, 2021 at the age of 75. She was born in Long Branch, New Jersey to Arkell and Margaret Cook. Shirley will be remembered by her husband, Jerry Southland of 50 years, son Brent (Carrie) Southland, and grandchildren, Kennedy, Braden, Ellery and Ashlyn, daughter Diana (Scott) Haid and grandchildren Madison, Brooklyn, Landon and Dawson, son Scott (Cara) Southland and grandchildren Payton and Paige, daughter Amy (Craig) Schroeder and grandchildren Isabelle, Corbin, Colton and Cody, brother John (Janice) Cook. She was preceded in death by her sister Janet Elder and brother Blair Cook. Shirley earned a Home Economics degree from MSU, taught middle school Home Economics, was a Girl Scout leader, loved photography, gardening, travel, crafts, sewing and above all, family. She attended Ada Bible Church
